Week 2

Ok well things are definatly looking up!!! My work was amazing, and i am now working from home again. its the most wonderful blessing i could have asked for, becuase i can stay at my job i have been at for so many years. Well brandon's job is staying pretty steady and looking up in other ways too. well my weight loss has been going good. starting out i was 152 lbs and i wont lie the pictures are a little embarrasing. but my first week last wednesday i got down to 147 and yesterday i weighed in and i was at 146 so i didnt do as well of a job this last week. so i am determined 5 more lbs by next week. I CAN DO IT. i have the power over my mind and spirit!!! go valee!!! will be posting pics later today. ,

New job..... New life.... New look?

So lots of drama with my work and crazy life!!! So i am going to be moving on with my life and looking for a new job!!! Along with looking for a new job, Monday i am offically going to lose 20 lbs. I dont care how long it takes but i am going to do it. And to help me on my journey i am going to blog my progress. starting monday will be my first post along with starting pictures. so wish me luck and heres to my progress!!!

California May 19-22

Our family got this awsome idea to suprize my mom on a trip to the price is right for my parents anniversary. well we put our plan into action. Family members coming. Me(the carryouter), Brandon, Kambree, Victor, Mom(no idea) Dad(the idea), Nathan, Dana(all the way from alaska, thats right)Jordan. Kailtin, Brett and Eliza, Jenny, vanessa,heather,suzanne, angelina, rick and the kids. Katerina, brett and kids. sarena, charles and kids. Our adventure began on thursday may 19th we drove all the way from salt lake to st george and we picked up kambree and victor (they were working down there) and we headed off from there. we were going to meet my mom and dad there, Remember this whole trip was a suprise from my mom, she had no clue) malaki did an awsome job the whole way there here he is in his carseat.

When we got there at 8 my family was still pretty far away so we went to some fun shops and got a few little things. my mom finally go there at 11 and we suprized her in the hotel room. we then had to go get nathan and dana from the airport. we woke up on sat and went to california adventures

*California Adventures*

Us on the Tower of terror We stayed pretty late, But we got to see this amazing show called The color of lights, it was water and they did this awsome show with water and they even put parts tot he movies on the water. it was so amazing. Well then saturday we woke up and went to disneyland Jordan and Kaitlin came that morning so there were here when we headed up there.

*DISNEYLAND*we had tons of fun at disneyland we went on a canoe tour and my mom took malaki for a bit so we got to go on alot of rides, my hip was killing me so kambree pushed me in the stroller back to the hotel. THen we woke up sunday and got ready to go to the beach.

* Huntington Beach*

We went to the huntington beach the weather was awsome and got pretty cloudy at the end. but they were having a little fair thing there at the beach so i got some cute feathers in my hair and we did a little shopping. something me and eliza loved more than brett and brandon. we finished our day and went and got some much needed sleep. Monday was the most inportant day. we went to be on the price is right. it was exciting other than dana forgot her id so they had to go back and get it. i felt terrible. other than i thought i told everyone. but they got back in time and we were able to get in, none of us got on or called up but it was alot of fun. meeting drew and the announcer was alot of fun. my mom got the announcers autograph. this pic is us riding on the back and side door of the car. the travel carier was in the car till we got out of the parking garage.

ok so too much has happened for me to go back and maybe i will start posting them if i dont have anything going on but not likly. lol. but starting now it will be happening!!!

Blessing Day

Malaki Owen Quarnberg March 6 2011 newest memeber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints!!
It was a bit hectic. the bishop forgot to open the church so we had to run tot he confrence center and get a key from someone i didnt even know (god was looking out for us). we got back and made a mad dash to get the food together. we got it together and ate all the yummyness. then we went and did the blessing. it was a wonderful feeling having you husband bless our baby something i have waited for years to see.

These are all of our wonderful family that came to be there for this special day!! thank you to everyone who helped out. we were so excited to see all our friends and family come for support. it was a sad day too though we lost my grandma but know that she is no longer in pain and still with us in our hearts.

All smiles

Malaki has started smiling. Its the cutest thing ever!! He is so alert and looks at you and smiles. he looks around at everything and hears you when you come into the room. He is the most amazing gift i have ever had in my life other than my husband and my family. but he just completes the circle. his smiles warms my heart. This is one proud mommy. He had his 2 month appointment on tuesday and he is a wopping almost 13 lbs and 23 1/2 inches long. he is almost double his birth weight and he is only 8 weeks old. i love every chub

So malaki is one week old in these pics. my blogger wasnt letting me uplaod pics for a bit there so i am posting them now. Here are a few of my favorites. we had a ton to chose from but these are my favs. well he has been nothing but a joy in our lives. and i cant even imagine not having him here now. at this time he was still waking up every two hours in the nihgt( not that much fun) but he is such a good baby. i thank the lord every day he is here in our lives.
